Life always changes

There are so many things I have wanted to blog in the past few months, but we had to keep everything low key and it was so hard not to share it all.  We did not do our major remodel.  The loans for remodeling were crazy.  In order to do our remodel we were going to have to get a contractor (pointless since my husband has been doing this for a living for the past 12 years).  No contractor...  No Loan.  Contractors add about 35% to the cost of a job and when we figured out we could sell our house and buy one without having to do all that work we opted for the latter of the two.  We did a quick replace of all flooring and revamped the bathrooms and put it on the market.  Today is the 17th of February and our house has been for sale for one month.  There is an offer that is being faxed over to us later today and we can't wait to go through it and see if we will be accepting it.

Things in Arizona are a little crazy right now..  I have spent the last week packing up my house and waiting for the appraisal to be done.  Because of the market and climate the appraiser low balled our home and it is now undergoing an appeal process because it is so below market value it is laughable.  My lender told me it was because they were trying to cover themselves because of the foreclosure rate...  I still feel very peaceful regarding the move and the remodel project we are about to undertake and feel that all will fall into place shortly.  The lender is going to appeal the whole thing and so we should be moving into a rental in the next week or so.  Waiting is never fun, but I am learning to be patient.
